Knicks Win 7th Straight

The New York Knicks stayed hot on Wednesday, winning their season-best seventh-straight game, beating up on the Sacramento Kings 100-85.

Jeremy Lin excited the home crowd at Madison Square Garden but not in the fashion we've seen over the past two weeks. It wasn't a flurry of slashing moves to the hoop and clutch jump shots, but rather a career-best 13 assists which included some flashy, and pretty, alley-oops.

Lin did have ten points on 4-of-6 shooting.

Landry Fields shot the ball well (6-0f-8), to lead New York with 15 points, who improve to 15-15 on the season.

Steve Novak and Bill Walker had 14 apiece. Amar'e Stoudemire and Iman Shumpert each had eleven.

Sacramento's Tyreke Evans led all scorers with 19.

The Knicks host the Hornets on Friday night at 8:00.
