Care About Your Smile? Let Dental Arts Turn It Into A Masterpiece [ADVERTORIAL]

Putting dentist visits on the calendar isn’t exactly everyone’s favorite appointment, but after years of not visiting the dentist (and finally being eligible for dental coverage) I decided it was time to walk into an office and face the music. Like pizzerias in this area, medical pros can be a dime a dozen, so after a recommendation from a colleague I headed over to Dental Arts fully preparing to be scolded…

Instead of the clinical atmosphere, what I found was one of coziness filled with human beings rather than the comparative robots that I’d become accustomed to. The quickly took some x-rays, the results of which I expected to take forever but they popped up on the screen in front of my chair instantaneously (shows how long it had been since I had been in for a checkup!) While I waited to meet my new dentist, they asked me if I’d like to watch some TV on said screen and I was like, dang what IS this place?

Within a few minutes I met my new dentist, Mike Fanelli whose joking and conversational demeanor put me right at ease. We shot the breeze for a few and I could immediately tell that this was just a normal guy who just happened to know oodles about dentistry. After the ice was broken, he switched the sports channel back over to the x-rays and explained what I was looking at in detail and following a subsequent full mouth examination I got the bad news. Cavities, and plenty. He laid out a treatment plan to get my mouth back into shape and then we touched on some cosmetic dentistry stuff that I was interested in. I left there encouraged about his plan and from the time of that first visit back in January to now, a dozen visits later I’m all whipped into shape with teeth that are a few shades whiter than I’d begun.

Not to mention that the entire office staff knew me by name, even those that I’d never dealt with which brings to mind that not only would I get the customary reminder phone call of appointments, but my phone would also light up with reminder texts both the day before and the day of my visits. Dental Arts is very solidly out of the Stone Age of dentistry and it is clear to me that they not only know their stuff but are interested in staying on the cutting edge of their craft while treating their patients like the real people that they are rather than a name on a folder. They de-cringed a notoriously cringeworthy experience and I look forward to going back again (I know, who says that?). Oh, and about that commerical, see below ;)
