Keep Your Kids Entertained This Summer

School’s out, what now?  Not long before you hear “I’m bored, there’s nuthin to do”.  Right?  Kids get a summer vacation, but you don’t…unless you are a teacher.  You have to keep them entertained on the weekends and during vacation times if you don’t plan on going somewhere, and even then it’s a good idea to have some activities planned during idle times.  Don’t rely on the video games, if you do then I guarantee that will be their posture for the season.  You don’t want that.  So what to do?  Think back when you were a kid.  What did you like to do?  One thing to remember is that what might seem lame or boring to you, may not be that way to your kids.  Kids like to be doing something besides sitting around.  Hmmmm, I wish there were someplace I could look up what kids like to do…Hmmm…oh yeah, the internet!  Lots of great ideas out there.  Keep the kids busy, but at the same time, limit the video games.  Save them for a rainy day.  Literally.
