Is Barbara Walters Retiring In 2014?

Barbara Walters has hosted morning shows like The Today Show and The View, the television news magazine 20/20, co-anchored the ABC Evening News, and she's a contributor to ABC News. When will her career end? Reports are out that Barbara Walters plans on retiring in 2014. 

According to TMZ, ABC News says that Barbara has joked about retiring every year since the Clinton Administration but now, it seems serious.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, Walters will make the official announcement in the coming weeks ... with her last broadcast taking place in May, 2014. We reached out to Barbara's people for comment -- so far, no word back.
