We didn't weigh in very much on the first season of Netflix's original Eli Roth horror fest 'Hemlock Grove,' though with the streaming service officially wading into second rounds of its original offerings, season 2 may prove a fine time to jump aboard. Check out the first 'Hemlock Grove' season 2 teaser, announcing a July premiere date for all episodes to begin streaming at once!

The first brief teaser for season 2 reveals that all of 'Hemlock Grove' season 2 will begin streaming on July 11, a few months after fellow Netflix original 'Orange Is the New Black' returning for a second season on May 6. The 10 all-new episodes (down from 13) will also see Charles H. (Chic) Eglee (‘The Walking Dead,’ ‘Dexter‘) joining as an executive producer.

Here's how Netflix describes 'Hemlock Grove' season 2:

Season 2 continues with the town coming to grips with the shocking massacre incurred by one of its deadliest creatures. Roman and Peter are now faced with new responsibilities and the realities that come with adulthood. Roman’s relationship with his mother (Famke Janssen) is all but dead as he struggles with his unwanted Upir birthright and the disappearance of his sister, Shelley (Madeline Martin). Peter moves in with Destiny (Tiio Horn) and is forced to get a job after his mother is sent away. Meanwhile, in search of a new life, newcomer Miranda Cates (Madeline Brewer), embarks on Hemlock Grove with an unknowingly profound effect on Peter and Roman. And Norman (Dougray Scott), still reeling from the loss of his family, must face the harsh truths that are uncovered about those he still loves.

“I cannot wait for fans to see what's in store for season 2 – it is going to blow away all expectations,” said Roth in a statement announcing the premiere. “Netflix has been an incredible partner, and whenever we wanted to take the story in a dangerous direction, they encouraged us to go even further - into a scarier, darker and sexier place. We guarantee you won't see anything like this anywhere else on television.”

Well, what do you think? Will you give 'Hemlock Grove' another go on July 11 with the season 2 premiere?
