Hamlin Wins Sixth United States Luge Title

Remsen's Erin Hamlin, who won a bronze medal at the Winter Olympics in Sochi, won her sixth career United States title at the Norton USA Luge National Championship in Lake Placid on Sunday.

Hamlin, who also captured the Lillehammer Cup three weeks ago, dominated with the fastest times in all four runs.

USA Luge will officially announce its fall World Cup squad today.

Hamlin entered the weekend competition exempt from qualifying.
