We get our first look at Halo: Nightfall in action with its debut trailer.

Microsoft has debuted its trailer for Halo: Nightfall during its recent panel at San Diego Comic-Con 2014, and Agent Locke's adventure is hell-bent on delivering classic, Halo-inspired action. Taking place between Halo 4 and Halo 5: Guardians, this digital series intends on telling Agent Locke's backstory.

We will get to see the upstart Spartan eventually become the mysterious hunter we saw in the E3 2014 trailer for Halo 5. He will start off as a manhunter and Naval Intelligence agent who will eventually search for an ancient artifact that poses a massive threat to the human race. Locke and his team will have to fight to deactivate this weapon. And where is this weapon located? On the remains of a shattered Halo ring.

Halo: Nightfall will launch this November on a weekly basis, with the first episode's release coinciding with Halo: The Master Chief Collection's debut on Nov. 11.
