Buffalo's first winter storm of the season is a BIG one! The snow started at midnight, dumping feet, and hasn't stopped. The storm has closed schools, stranded motorists and closed the New York State Thruway IN BOTH DIRECTIONS between Exit 46, Rochester, and Exit 59, Dunkirk.

State police Capt. Ed Kennedy tells ABC News, 'state troopers were using all-terrain vehicles to deliver blankets and other emergency supplies to motorists stranded on the Thruway overnight.'

Take a look at just how much fell in the Buffalo area. THAT'S A LOT OF SNOW!

We may see snow in our area, but hopefully not as much as in Buffalo.

It's only November. I hope this isn't a sign of things to come this winter. I'll move in with my parents in Florida til June.
