Fan Caught Breaking Into Wrigley Field to Steal Some Outfield Ivy

Officials at Wrigley Field in Chicago caught the guy who broke into the stadium just to steal some ivy off of the field’s famous outfield wall.
Michael Vite, a Chicago resident, broke into the stadium, ran out on to the field and snagged a handful of the famous shrubbery. The entire incident was captured on the stadium’s security cameras.
He was able to break into the stadium early last Sunday morning through an area of the stadium that was under construction. Security personnel were able to capture Vite before he could leave the stadium with the stolen ivy. He faces a misdemeanor charge of criminal trespassing.
We can’t wait for Cubs fans to somehow blame Vite for another terrible season.
