Today, all across America, we are celebrating our independence.  There are cookouts, there is camping, there is fireworks, and basically just celebrations with family and friends.  While we may become acquainted with a few ice cold adult beverages of our choice, we need to remember that the kids love to have fun too, right?  Here are some things you can do with the kids today.

1.  Make some homemade ice cream - The ice cream makers are pretty reasonably priced these days.  Fun to make and definitely fun to eat!

2.  Should we cursed with thunderstorms, you can still do some stuff indoors.  Kids love to do crafts and they like them better when you are doing these with them.  Check out some ideas here.

3.  Catch some fireworks!  Oh yeah, kids love them, dogs....not so much.  Here are some fireworks displays in your area.
