Get ready for a more intimate look at the Batmobile in Batman: Arkham Knight.

Sefton Hill, Game Director at Rocksteady Studios, has posted on the PlayStation Blog about the new Batmobile, which will be fully playable in the upcoming final chapter to the Arkham series.

He shares with us his three favorite Batmobile features, all of which he and the team at Rocksteady hope will help them deliver a truly unique Batman experience.

For starters, the Batmobile is nigh unstoppable. The only way they said they could truly make you feel like Batman is if the Batmobile just mowed down whatever was in its path, be it a pillar, a statue or a wall. Having a Batmobile capable of destruction makes sense, since it wouldn't feel like you were the Caped Crusader if your sweet ride got stuck on a piece of raised asphalt.

Another awesome feature is that you can eject from the seat, even while driving, and transition into a glide, letting you get more distance our of your cape. By the same token, you can call upon the Batmobile wherever you are, even if you're in the middle of a tussle with some goons. It'll come sliding around the corner when it's beckoned. You can even call of it in mid-glide. Nifty, eh?

Get ready to jump into the Batmobile when Batman: Arkham Knight is released on Oct. 14 for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
