Slocum-Dickson Medical Group’s Pulmonology Department will present a Free COPD/Asthma Screening Day, at the Group’s New Hartford location on Tuesday, November 19th from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the main level entrance lobby. This event is free and open to the public.
No appointment is necessary. Free screenings will include Spirometry (lung function test) and Alpha-1 Antitrypsin Deficiency Test (for genetic cause of COPD). Educational information on Asthma, COPD, smoking cessation and Alph-1 Antitrypsin Deficiency will be available.
