A 5k run and Charity walk to honor Alexandra Kogut will begin at 10:00 a.m. at SUNY IT on Saturday October 12th. You can get more info at AK5K.org for how to register for the event.
There will be pre-registration Friday night at Perry Jr. High on Weston Rd. in New Hartford from 5 to 7 p.m. and on Saturday morning from 7:30 to 9:15 a.m at SUNY IT Campus Center.
The event will also have a large Chinese Auction with items and gift certificates donated by local businesses and some of our professional sports teams across the state as well as some of our local colleges. There will be awards for overall winners male and female of the 5k run and here will also be awards given in 10 year age groups 3 deep. Some come out and support this great event---"Make Life Beautiful--Remember ALex"
