We covered two 'Erin' stories in a single day last month, one took home the first ever medal for the women's singles luge back in February and the other is shooting for her own personal medal (quite literally) but won't stand on the winner's podium until 2014 is over. Her name is Erin Covey and she's been doing a personal labor-of-project called 'Portrait365' where she takes one portrait every day for the entire year. We finally caught up to her on Day 80 on her way to Connecticut to shed more light on her vision! (Sorry about the photography puns) Listen in!

Here's Erin and I meeting for the first time and talking Portrait 365!

So, she threw the gauntlet. What became of the shoot? Candids like these...

Haha, that look on my face just made me think of something...

Anyway, back to the subject at hand... There's just something about black and white shots that just focus detail in more contrast while still leaving room for imagination. To check out the previous 79 days, be sure to bookmark her Portrait365 page once you so you can follow her on the rest of her journey! And if you'd like to be a part of the journey contact her at her regular website in order to be considered for a future photo shoot!
