Elton John Opens Tribeca Film Festival

The 10th annual Tribeca Film Festival opened last night with music and movies. Tribeca has become a flashy festival over the years, so who better than to have Elton John on hand. Cameron Crowe’s documentary on the collaboration between John and Leon Russell, “The Union,” was screened. It was followed by a short performance by John. The event in New York City is free and runs through the weekend.
