The folks of Colorado Springs will have to find another Easter egg hunt this year after the annual event sponsored by the Old Colorado City Association was canceled due to bad behavior. Now the bad behavior wasn't from the kids, but by the parents.

Last year parents lined up behind ropes while their children prepared for the hunt, but then it went all wrong. The bullhorn used for the start malfunctioned and master of ceremonies instead used a faulty PA system, which was hard to hear.

Mazie Bahlman, the master of ceremonies, recalls

"So everybody thinks you said 'Go,' and everybody goes, and it's over in seconds. If one parent gets in there, the other parents say, 'If one can get in, we all can get in,' and everybody goes." As a result, the hunt ended in seconds.

Do you do an Easter Egg hunt?
