Capcom has announced that the critically acclaimed hack and slash game, Devil May Cry will be coming out for next-gen consoles.

With DmC: Devil May Cry being out for almost two years now and Devil May Cry 4 being out for almost seven, Capcom and Ninja Theory decided it's time to bring them onto next-gen consoles. For now, Capcom is only revealing details about DmC, but that's alright with us since the details seem pretty awesome.

The game will have everything you loved about the first, but with added features. In the new version, not only will you be able to play as Vergil in Vergil's Bloody Palace Mode, but there will also be added difficulty modes such as Gods Must Die, Must Style Mode, and Hardcore Mode. Along with this there will be new free costumes, modifiers, leaderboards, trophies, achievements and an amazing 1080p at 60fps display.

You'll be able to purchase DmC Devil May Cry: Definitive Edition as either a digital download or hard copy at retail stores throughout Europe and North America on Mar. 17 for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One for $39.99. Devil May Cry 4 will also be released for both consoles in Summer 2015.
