Did You Have Tinker Toys When You Were A Kid?

If  you grew up in the 60s and 70s, chances are you answered yes to the subject question.  So, did anyone else put the sticks in their ears and run around the house pretending to be an alien?  No?  Maybe that was just me.  At my age now, I would certainly never encourage running around with anything sticking out of your ears.  Sometimes, when I browse my Facebook account, someone will post something nostalgic, like Tinker Toys, and that often inspires a blog from the Chipster.  Believe it or not, the Tinker Toys are still around, but they are more plastic pieces now, not the wooden pieces that would splinter easily and cause impalement.  When putting together your Christmas list this year, maybe consider one the oldie but goodies.  Wonthcha?
