It is hard to imagine someone who has it all, charming good looks, professional success and whole lot of money ever contemplating something as drastic as suicide; however, that thought was crossing the mind of actor George Clooney in 2005. Clooney said he was in so much pain for a spinal injury he suffered while making the movie "Syriana", that he thought about ending his life. Clooney told Rolling Stone magazine that he was at a point where he thought he could no longer exist:

"I was lying in a hospital bed with an IV in my arm, unable to move, having these headaches where it feels like you're having a stroke, and for a short three-week period, I started to think, 'I may have to do something drastic about this,'" he recalled. - UPI.com

Clooney is doing much better now thanks to surgery however he still suffers headaches. The actor's latest film, "The Descendants", opens this week.
