City of Utica Sandbagging Roosevelt Drive Neighborhood Ahead of Hurricane Sandy

The ravine behind Roosevelt Drive in South Utica is one of the city's most notorious spots for flooding.  The city is shoring up the neighborhood defined by the cross streets between Sunset Ave and Roosevelt Drive by clearing storm drains and sandbagging streets.

Unnecessary travel is banned in Utica after 5PM Monday.
