Can you believe it's September already? Even though it's officially summer until the evening of September 22nd, will we have summer weather this month? Check out the long-range forecast for central New York in September.

Let's go to my favorite weather source and check their central New York weather predictions for September, according to "The Old Farmer's Almanac 2014":

"SEPTEMBER 2014: temperature 60° (1° above avg.); precipitation 4" (1" above avg. north, 1" below south)

Sep 1-4: Showers, then sunny, cool; Sep 5-9: Showers north, sunny south; turning warm; Sep 10-16: Showers, then sunny, cool; Sep 17-26: Scattered showers, seasonable; Sep 27-30: Sunny, warm."

Let's see how accurate they are as the September days roll on.
