Central New Yorkers: How Do You Pronounce ‘Creek’? [POLL]

When I was a child, the people around me pronounced the work creek as crick. It wasn't until I was older that I heard creek pronounced with the long /e/ sound. After doing a little Internet research, both pronunciations--creek and crick--are acceptable. Merriam-Webster Dictionary even lists both pronunciations.

So, I want to do some research. I want to see which pronunciation is most common among Central New Yorkers. I'll let you know the results next week. So we can get as many people to vote as we can, consider sharing this story on your favorite social media website.
