Activision Blizzard CEO Bobby Kotick wants everybody to know that Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare has surpassed all movie, music and book launches this year in terms of revenue, but he won't release hard numbers for what that means.

However, despite not releasing any hard numbers for Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare, Activision still has exciting news -- the Call of Duty franchise has now topped $10 billion in sales worldwide. That's seriously exciting, but still missing the hard numbers that Activision released for its predecessors.

Polygon brings up some titles that Activision did release hard numbers for, starting with Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, which pulled in $310 million on the first day of sales in revenue in the U.S. and U.K. Also in the U.S. and U.K. Modern Warfare 3, Black Ops, and Black Ops 2 pulled in $400 million, 5.6 million and $500 million respectively. With all these hard numbers, it's a little disappointing that all we've heard about this supposedly awesome start with Advanced Warfare is that it outperformed Ghosts' first week.

Kotick said, "Advanced Warfare is the biggest entertainment launch of 2014 in terms of revenue, surpassing all movie, music and book launches this year." Kotick continues on to say that the game is the, "highest-selling digital launch in console history." These are some pretty big words for a game whose hard numbers are still under wraps.

Even though this is a huge step for video games, I think it's also worth mentioning that while a single ticket to The Hunger Games movie that Kotick is comparing Advanced Warfare's sales to is ~$15, Advanced Warfare is ~$60. Could this possibly contribute to Advanced Warfare surpassing such movies earnings?

Either way, if you want to contribute to the game's earnings further, you can buy Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare now and play it on  Xbox One, Xbox 360, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3 or PC.
