Kevin Quinn and myself are just a couple of “Wild and Crazy guys!”. We both wear the title of “single guys” on the WODZ air staff. We figured we’d share our top spots to pick up singles in Central New York!

1) Supermarket

Supermarkets are a gold mine for singles to find dates. The trick is to go to a Supermarket at night and that’s where you will find single people. Sometimes you’ll get the best looking woman, sometimes you’ll find the divorced mothers. Either way it’s a win-win.  Markets like Hannaford in Washington Mills are 24 hours.

2) The Lava Club at Turning Stone

Every weekend single people of Central New York flock to Lava at the Turing Stone Resort Casino for a night of dancing, drinking, and picking up singles. Lava usually has great themed parties, and you got to dress to impress.

3) Bowling Alleys

We don’t have many of these across Central New York, but the ones we do have are a great place to pick up singles. We have one in Rome called King Pin Lanes, and in Utica its AMF Pin O Rama. Women like guys with skills, if you can bull a 300 you’re sure to impress a lady or two, or six.

4) Finger Bullet Bar

If you’re looking to find a single nurse then good news for you, the Finger Bullet Bar is the place to be! They serve Jello shots, great beer, and it’s a prime location. It’s right across from Faxton Hospital on Bennet Street in Utica so maybe you’ll find a nurse that can nurse you back from the pain of being single!

5) 12 North Sports Bar

Why wouldn’t you want to find a single woman who likes sports?  Well at 12 North Sports Bar off of Horatio Street in Deerfield, you’ll find just that! Great food, great beers, great sports on the tube, and the ladies that will put up with your 4 season sports addiction.  What’s not to like?

That's our list, but we're always in search of more great places for singles to mingle.  Where are the other great spots to pick up singles?
