Paul McCartney has a new bride and apparently a new religion. According to The National Enquirer, the Beatles' bass player is converting to Judaism. It seems that wedding vows weren't the only vow McCartney made his new bride, socialite Nancy Shevell:

PAUL MCCARTNEY, baptized Roman Catholic but admittedly never very devout, quietly told pals after his marriage to socialite NANCY SHEVELL – who’s Jewish and takes her religion seriously – that he’s studying Judaism and promised his new bride he’ll convert. - TheNationalEnquirer.com

McCartney came from a split home on the matter of religion. His mom was Catholic while his father was Protestant. McCartney's first wife, Linda Eastman, was also Jewish. Sir Paul says he will complete his conversion studies next year.
