Forget that photo of Affleck in the Batsuit posted by Zack Snyder, this is the Batman footage Gotham deserves.

This new trailer for Batman: Arkham Knight is absolutely jaw-dropping. Sure, we were expecting to see a little of Penguin, Two-Face, Harley Quinn and the mysterious, new titular character, but seeing the Batmobile and its driver moving in next-gen graphics is just amazing. The last time we saw the Batmobile used in an Arkham game, it was piloted by remote to knock Bane out. Luckily, Batman heeded his old sidekick's words of, "chicks love the car," and made an amazing new ride in the process.

Arkham Knight is going to be Rocksteady Studios' final chapter in the Batman: Arkham trilogy, but the gameplay it provides showcases the gap between current-gen and next-gen capabilities. Driving inverted in one of the Riddler's massive tunnels just left us wide-eyed at the possibilities Arkham Knight has to offer. Be prepared to take the driver's seat of the Batmobile on Oct. 14 on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
