Are Violent Video Games Contributing To the Declining Crime Rate?
A new academic paper suggests that the proliferation of violent videos games over the past 20 years has contributed to the more than 50 percent decrease in violent crime over that time period.
The paper’s authors analyzed published studies on the topic of violence and video games, and were able to conclude that “though there is evidence that violent video games cause aggression in a laboratory setting, there is no evidence that violent video games cause violence or crime.”

Dallas Mavericks’ Owner Mark Cuban Brags Big Time In Legal Response To Lawsuit
The NBA champion Dallas Mavericks have won at least 50 games in every season since Mark Cuban bought a majority share in the team from Ross Perot Jr. in 2000.
Nevertheless, Perot, who still owns five percent of the Mavericks, is suing Cuban for “mismanagement” of the team.

Police: Ryan Dunn Drunk, Driving Over 132 MPH At Time of Deadly Car Crash
Police said Wednesday that ‘Jackass’ star Ryan Dunn was drunk and driving upwards of 140 miles per hour at the time of his fatal car crash early Monday morning.
“The initial crash reconstruction investigation determined that Mr. Dunn’s vehicle was traveling between 132-140 miles per hour at the time of the collision,” West Goshen Police Chief Michael Carroll said in a statement Wednesday (via CNN).
