He has spent a lifetime obsessed with all things Rock & Roll.  Dave has written for a variety of publications including Shindig!, Bucketful Of Brains, The Cleveland Scene and The Cleveland Plain Dealer. He hosts his own radio show, has promoted concerts and played in several bands including, but not limited to, Rainy Day Saints, The Chamber Strings, The Cynics, New Salem Witch Hunters, Guided By Voices, Death Of Samantha, and Captain Groovy & His Bubblegum Army.   Favorite bands-Cheap Trick, The Monkees, Sparks, Motorhead, Beach Boys, Rockpile, XTC,Van Der Graaf Generator, Sweet, Bob Dylan,etc. Favortie color- paisley. Rolling Stones Hint at More Shows In 2013

As Mick Jagger exited the stage at the Rolling Stones' final show of 2012, he told the crowd at New Jersey's Prudential Center, “This is our last show ... of the 50th anniversary tour. Deep Purple Announce New Album Release Date

Though recently snubbed by the powers-that-be at the Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame, the mighty Deep Purple are rolling full speed ahead and have announced new details concerning their long awaited new album. Their 19th studio album will see the light of day on April 30, 2013. It is being released by the German based label earMUSIC. The band's last studio effort dates back to 2005's  'Rapture Of The Deep' so this is a long time coming.

Engineer Sean Magee Talks About Restoring the Beatles for Vinyl Box Set

There's a new Beatles vinyl box set that's sure to keep the band's fans buzzing. Released on Nov. 13, 'The Beatles' features all of the band's original U.K. records plus the 'Past Masters' collection. According to the EMI press release, the LPs are all pressed on 180-gram, audiophile quality vinyl with replicated artwork, including the poster from 'The Beatles' (The White Album) original release and the 'Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band' cutouts. The box also contains a "stunning, elegantly designed 252-page hardbound book."
