Bruce Springsteen Performs ‘Bishop Danced’ For The First Time Since 1973

The Twitter feeds of Bruce Springsteen fans exploded with shock tonight (May 2) when fans attending his show at the Prudential Center in Newark, N.J. reached for their phones to tell the world that he performed the obscurity ‘Bishop Danced.’ Springsteen had not sang the song since an opening slot for Blood, Sweat and Tears at the Berkeley Community Theatre on March 2, 1973.

Elton John Sued For Stealing Lyrics To ‘Nikita’

Elton John and his longtime lyricist Bernie Taupin are being sued for copyright infringement over John’s 1985 hit ‘Nikita.’ TMZ is reporting that papers filed in a federal court in Illinois state that Guy Hobbs claims that lyrics are very similar to his own composition ‘Natasha,’ which he wrote in 1982.

Levon Helm Memorial To Take Place April 26

In the last decade of his life, Levon Helm opened up his home in Woodstock, N.Y. for his Midnight Ramble concerts. Therefore, it’s fitting that it will be the site of a memorial for him. Rolling Stone is reporting that the service will take place on April 26 from 10AM to 3PM. Helm passed away on April 19 at the age of 71 after a lengthy bout with throat cancer. Friends and fans are invited to attend.
