I earned my degree at Herkimer County Community College, although they may not admit it. After graduating from H-Triple C I became the public address announcer for the then Little Falls Mets and did overnights at 1230 WLFH. I was so successful at those two jobs that the Mets moved to Pittsfield and back home to Central New York

Big Bopper Videos Discovered

The Big Bopper was ahead of his time! The Speek, a music video company, has discovered three videos he made in late 1958. According to the company the Bopper set up a 16-millimeter camera in front of painted backgrounds and filmed himself singing into a telephone for "Chantilly Lace", dancing with a mannequin for "The Big Bopper's Wedding" and singing to a mannequin in a hood for "Little Red Riding Hood"

Rolling Stones Tribute Show

The Rolling Stones will be honored with a special tribute concert at Carnegie Hall in March. The tribute will celebrate the 40th anniversary of iconic rock band's release of "Hot Rocks 1964-1971". The show will feature a variety of musical aritst putting their own stamp on the Stones' hits:
