The team that is sicking a new Xenomorph on another Ripley has reassured us that the next-gen versions of Alien: Isolation will look quite similar.

According to Total Xbox, Creative Assembly's Gary Napper claimed that Alien: Isolation will look quite the same when comparing the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 versions of the game to one another. Napper boasts that the game will run at 1080p on both PS4 and Xbox One.

"That's actually not something I get that into, because we build it on one central engine and then kick it out to different versions," Napper said. "So when I think about working on the game it's almost platform agnostic because I only think about the differences between platforms and the different mechanics we can use like the light on the PS4 pad and the stuff with Kinect 2.0."

"So I think with frame rate it's pretty comparable. There's no noticeable drop or change in graphics between them. Obviously there are a lot more options to tweak and scale up on the PC."

Of course, the next-gen versions of the game will look quite advanced compared to its Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 counterparts. It is likely that the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions of Alien: Isolation will look quite similar to each other as well.

Alien: Isolation will have you ducking killer androids and that pesky Xenomorph on Oct. 7 for PC, Xbox 360, Xbox One, PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4. We are also waiting to receive more updates as to the upcoming Oculus Rift version of Isolation.
