Who Is Rapper ‘L Jinny’ And Did He Execute James Wright Foley?

It's been a week since we learned of the beheading of American photo-journalist James Wright Foley at the hands of ISIS and if you stomached the video, one of the things that may've caught your attention was the British accent of James's executioner. Thanks to voice-recognition software, the former rapper's own Twitter account and high profile, authorities believe that L Jinny, whose real name is Abdel-Majed Abdel Bary is the cold-blooded killer.

Interestingly, he grew up in a million dollar home in London and was home-schooled by his mother because she was worried about negative influences in his life. Ironically, L Jinny's own father just so happened to be an Al Queda militant under Bin Laden and has been bouncing around avoiding extradition since his son was in Kindergarten. The older Bary is now awaiting trial for his involvement in the '98 US Embassy bombings while the younger one continues to forsake his former life for Jihadist pursuits and he too will hopefully soon be brought to justice. Looks like the apple hasn't fallen too far from the tree.
