If you saw an a job listing for Director of Operations for a company whose requirements included managing at least a dozen projects at once with no breaks, being on call 24/7 while putting in a 90+ hour work week with increased workload on holidays, no paid vacation, no health insurance, no dental and oh yeah, a pro-bono salary... Salary.com's 2013 survey of moms calculates that were motherhood an actual job in workplace terms, moms should make upwards of $135K for their motherly duties. So, the next time you feel like complaining about your job, don't forget that every mom on the planet has it much worse than you do (unless you're a mom yourself) and if she's a working mom, she deserves some crazy accolades.
