David Bowie and the Rolling Stones were among the classic rockers who have been nominated for 2014 Grammy Awards. The nominees were announced last night (Dec. 6).

Bowie, the Stones, Black Sabbath and Paul McCartney each have three nominations. Bowie and Sabbath received nods for their new, full-length efforts, 'The Next Day' and '13,' The Stones' 'Doom and Gloom' earned a nomination in the Best Rock Song category, as did McCartney's collaboration with Dave Grohl and the other surviving members of Nirvana, 'Cut Me Some Slack.'
